The second annual East Algarve Walking Football Golf Day took place recently at the superbly appointed Benamor Course at Conceição de Tavira.
The Sir Henry Cotton designed course provided sufficient challenges for the competitors, with ‘Team Cabanas’ comprising Margaret Coleman, Gavin Southern, Adrian Jones and Les Passey taking first place on 65 strokes.
‘Team Olhão’ – Robert Cheshire, John Parr, Mike Bristow, Thomas Regan – finished in second place, five strokes behind the winners.

Organiser Henrik Misiorny was delighted with the success of the event that culminated with a late lunch and presentation ceremony at the Hairy Lemon Restaurant & Bar, Conceição de Tavira.
