Dear Friends,
We’re very sorry to announce more sad news in that we lost another dear friend last weekend in Knut Anderson.
73-year-old Knut would sometimes join us at our over 60s sessions, and we’ve shown our respects to his life and sudden passing at our recent sessions, but we also wanted to recognise it in this note, and extend our deepest sympathies to Knut’s wife, Paula, and their children back in Norway.
Born near the town of Bodø in northern Norway, Knut went to sea as a young man, then worked many years in the postal service and, latterly, in the crane industry. When he retired in 2017, Knut and his wife moved to Portugal and settled in Olhão.
On behalf of all of us, Jonathan and Øistein have been in contact with Paula and offered all the support we can and gained her kind agreement to us publishing a public note of this nature.
We send our deepest sympathies to Paula and family.
