This week the club will be supporting two of our friends from Pedras da Rainha Bowling Club; Graham and Bob will be attempting a marathon 24-hour bowl on the 7th December to mark Graham’s 70th birthday.
They are raising funds for the local bombeiros to try and buy technology equipment for their engines.
On the same day, the cycling arm of EAWF will be holding their 5th annual Santa Ride around the local area. Starting in Tavira, they will be calling in at the WF session and various local hostelries before finishing at the Old Barrel for a Festive Evening’s Entertainment. Everyone is welcome.
I think we all appreciate the efforts of the Bombeiros particularly after this summer!
